Of course, it can be hard to specify your niche within your business, but try and make your focus around a particular subject matter, or industry if you are more business lead. This will help you when it comes to including keywords within your content, helping you become more visible when people type certain words you want associated with your site into search engines.
2. Try and be linked to by other established websites
Many search engines create results based on a website being deemed as highly ranked or of importance. One of the ways you can do this is having your website linked back to from other popular websites with a high domain authority. Backlinks can be created in different ways, such as comments on articles that welcome the engagement, but you can also have content created to be featured on other websites. This is where you can employ the services of an experienced content writer, who will create engaging copy that will also include a link back to your website
3. Keep your website updated and relevant
Is the content on your website relevant to your industry? Is it correct and factual? This is where your website needs to be regularly updated, and a great way to do this is through a blog that runs alongside it. This also creates more pages and links to your main page, which will only help you in regards to any advertisement and reach. A blog post could be seen in many weeks or months into the future, whereas your website can be a static page that doesn’t see much engagement directly.

People are used to getting information fast, and the online world matches that, so if your page fails to open quickly it could put people off sticking around. Things that can slow down a web page includes pictures, music players and unnecessary plugins behind the scenes.
